OUR STORY
My name is Laura Fonseca, the proud parent of three amazing and wonderful sons. I am also the owner of The Secret Garden Daycare in Yonkers, New York. We are a fully licensed and insured group family daycare and have been since 2010. My goal in caring for children is to provide them with a safe, loving, nurturing, and comfortable environment. Having been a working mom myself I understand how difficult it is for parents to find good quality childcare. I feel I have the love, knowledge, experience and qualities needed to provide an encouraging environment in which children can learn and grow.
I believe that children are the most important part of our future, and I will work with you to help establish the solid foundation children need to feel secure and to provide stability for their future.
The Secret Garden Daycare provides your child with a motivating & playful approach to teaching cognitive, creative and socialization skills.
I always find ways to improve my program and enhance the environment for the children. Play is an important part of a child's development. It is how they understand the world around them.
My staff members are caring, playful, friendly, nurturing & educated childcare givers, which have been carefully screened, registered and fingerprinted by the Department of Health and CPR certified.
We are hosted by an app where you can view updates about your little one from any Internet connected device.

At The Secret Garden Daycare, we value the importance of a healthy, well-balanced meal! Our menus are planned based on a 4 week cycle, and meet all guidelines and regulations set forth by state and federal regulatory agencies. Our wholesome meals and satisfying snacks encourage your child to explore new flavors.

All caregivers, regardless of experience, participate in continuous programs of education to enhance skills and knowledge to better assist your child’s growth and development.
